Since Kevin Murphy is the official hair partner for MBFW AW22, we thought of asking the renowned hair stylist and beauty entrepreneur a thing or two about the upcoming season – and talked to him about excitements, fear moments and why processing new impressions is so important.

What are you most excited for this season? 

I think coming out of lockdown, I am really excited to see all the creativity. Everyone had so much time to sit around and find who they are, so I think it’s going to be really great to see that creativity come out on stage.

What is your fear moment during Fashion Week? 

The most fearful moment is when you made something and it is about to go and stage and it is not going to work, or if the designer changes their mind. That’s fearful!

How do you process all the impressions after Fashion Week? 

To process the impressions after Fashion Week is really important because it helps you create your next journey. It sets you up for your next creative process.

What inspires you the most? 

For me it is being in the moment because it will allow you to look around and see what is around you and inspires you – again – on your next journey.

Do you have a favorite texture? 

For me it is always curly wavy! All the time!
