Justin Cassin // AW22
After studying fashion design, the Australian fashion designer founded his namesake brand in Los Angeles, California. The brand intends to highlight each personality instead of hiding it with his clothes. Justin Cassin’s designs portray his life’s different phases and places while building bridges between streetwear aesthetics and classic menswear.
International supermodel Jordan Barrett not only opened and closed the AW22 show but reflects the brand’s ethos like no other: Free-spirited, easy-going and with a cheeky side.
Justin Cassin showed us today how the cool guys are going to dress like for AW22. As an homage to his home in Australia there were patterned shirts worn with flowy pants and sandals in natural earth tones or plissé two-pieces in black and white.
The Austalian designer showed his skills with a big focus on tailored pieces. Not only did he show great suits with mixed materials like wool and silk but also deconstructed black shirts with buckle-details that have the potential to be classic highlight piece in every mans closet. An amazing detail were the contrasting stitches on the soft black coats.
Justin Cassin also displayed his understanding of a modern man and was could not be more on point in 2022. The models wore man skirts as well as long-sleeved overalls, that were belted on the waist. Yet again, showing his laid-pack Australian style.
